Must have a team-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Master of Near Coastal Steam or Motor Vessels of at least 100 Gross Tons.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 2+ Years of Lead Captain experience.
Expectations
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the crew.
- Promote compliance with company health safety and environmental policy.
- Ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate employees.
- Must have a team oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.

Must demonstrate the desire to lead and motivate employees and possess the ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time. Must be team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements

The First Seaman assumes a mentor role with Second Seaman. Has the necessary skills and knowledge to hold the wheel while running offshore. Can perform any required deck or engine room tasks without instruction. He anticipates the captain's next orders. Knows how the vessel is to be maintained and takes leadership roles in projects. The First Seaman fosters a teamwork attitude with fellow crew members. He is working towards obtaining a USCG license.
