The First Captain is the vessel master, provides leadership and direction to the crew, promotes efficiency, customer service, safety, and compliance. Must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate employees and possess the ability to organize and effectively work on multiple tasks at one time. You'll be familiar with managing crewboat operations, including the opportunity to lead and train crew members. The First Seaman assumes a mentor role with Second Seaman. Has the necessary skills and knowledge to hold the wheel while running offshore. Can perform any required deck or engine room tasks without instruction. He anticipates the captain's next orders. Knows how the vessel is to be maintained and takes leadership roles in projects. The First Seaman fosters a teamwork attitude with fellow crew members. He is working towards obtaining a USCG license.

You'll train under senior crew members to develop skills required for advancement. You will become familiar with our processes and systems. You will have the opportunity to participate in the company 401k plan and enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance. You'll be familiar with crewboat operations, including the opportunity to accrue sea time and experience needed for the USCG license.
The Third Seaman is a training position working as required by the vessel master or other senior crew members. He can perform the necessary deck or engine room tasks with instruction.
